Long Island Nets to host high school basketball championships

The Long Island Nets will host the Long Island boys high school basketball championships at NYCB Live’s Nassau Coliseum this Sunday, March 10. It is the first time in more than 40 years that the championship games will be at the Coliseum.

The first game of the double-header will tip-off around 6 p.m., after the matchup between the Nets and the Iowa Wolves. The Manhasset Indians (20-3) will play against the Wyandanch Warriors (17-7) in the Class A championship game.

After the Class A champion is decided, the Uniondale Knights (19-3) will tip-off against the Brentwood Indians (22-1) in the 8 p.m. Class AA championship game.

Tickets for the high school championship games are $10 each and grant entry to both games. Tickets for both the Long Island Nets game and the two championship games are available for $25.
