Qdoba Mexican Eats coming to Plainview

The Plainview Centre will be home to Long Island’s newest Qdoba Mexican Eats restaurant.

The new Qdoba at 327 South Oyster Bay Road is slated to open in September. This will be the second new Qdoba to open on the Island since March 2018, when one of the chain’s restaurants opened across from the Nassau University Medical Center on Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow.

The Long Island Qdobas are owned and operated by the Burger Brothers Restaurant Group, which is owned by the Froccaro family. The Port Washington-based company also owns Qdobas in Fresh Meadows, Queens and Bushwick, Brooklyn, as well as three Greene Turtle Sports Bar & Grille locations and 36 Burger King restaurants throughout Long Island and the New York area.

The franchisees plan to open four more Long Island Qdobas in Massapequa, Farmingdale, Hauppauge and Bay Shore within the next 12 months, according to published reports.
