All aboard for model train show fundraiser

The Trainville Hobby Depot is organizing a model train show at the Hicksville Community Center this weekend.

Donations accepted at the event will support The Safe Center LI, a nonprofit that provides resources that assist in saving and changing the lives of the victims of domestic or dating abuse, child abuse, and sexual assault.

The model train layouts will be operating from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23 and Sunday, Nov. 24 at 28 West Carl St. in Hicksville.

Admission to the model train exhibit is $5, and $3 for children ages 4 to 11. Children under 4 will be admitted free.
