Long Island Applebee’s fuel Toys for Tots drive

For the 22nd consecutive year, Applebee’s restaurants on Long Island will raise funds to support the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program.

Applebee’s guests can add tater tots to any order for a $3 donation. They can also round up their checks or donate a dollar amount to show their support. All of the donation proceeds will be given directly to the Toys for Tots program, which distributes new toys to as many underprivileged children as possible.

In addition, Applebee’s also wants to give back to its guests. Patrons who purchase $50 in Applebee’s gift cards will also receive a $10 bonus gift card, which can be used through January 31, 2021.

Since its inception, Applebee’s locations owned and operated by Doherty Enterprises have raised $4.9 million through its Toys for Tots fundraising campaign to benefit local communities. In 2019 alone, Toys for Tots distributed 18.6 million toys to over 7.3 million children.
