A scary good time is expected at this year’s Halloween Fest in Riverhead.
While Riverhead’s downtown will be lined with ghouls and goblins all month long, special events will be featured at the Halloween Fest scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 23.
Halloween Fest will have coffin races on Griffing Avenue from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., kids are invited to go trick or treating on Main Street from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., and Main Street’s Goblin Parade kicks off at 7 p.m.
A performance and award ceremony will be held immediately following at the north parking lot.
Rain date for the Halloween Fest is Sunday, Oct. 24.
Halloween Fest is sponsored by Island Federal Credit Union and hosted by DowntownRiverhead.org.
