Title firm and developer raise $100K for The INN

Prime X, a title abstract company affiliated with developer RXR raised $100,000 for The Mary Brennan INN (Interfaith Nutrition Network) in Hempstead.

Prime X hosted their annual golf outing last month and donated all proceeds to The INN, a nonprofit, volunteer-based organization that provides a wide variety of essential services to assist those challenged by hunger, homelessness and profound poverty.

The event took place at Engineers Country Club in Roslyn Harbor, where club owner RXR served as one of the lead sponsors.

“At RXR, we believe that our success is dependent on the success of the communities where we operate,” RXR President Michael Maturo said in a company statement. “The INN has been a critical lifeline for vulnerable Long  Islanders for decades, and we are proud to support one of Long Island’s most important community based non-profit organizations.”

Since the organization’s inception in 1983, The INN has served over 15 million meals to Long Island families in need. The largest soup kitchen on Long Island, The INN served nearly 207,000 meals in 2021, including over 45,000 to children. The organization also operated two emergency shelters and provided 171 beds for homeless individuals.

“The INN is grateful to RXR and PrimeX for their most generous support,” Jean Kelly, executive director at The INN, said in the statement. “This contribution not only allows The INN to continue its charitable mission at a  critical time, but also sets an example for others to follow. We are truly fortunate to have forward thinking, community-minded neighbors like RXR and PrimeX.”
