Chipotle opens in Westbury with new Chipotlane

Chipotle Mexican Grill opened its first Westbury location last week with a new pickup feature.

The Westbury restaurant at 474 Old Country Road is the chain’s first on Long Island with its new Chipotlane. The feature is a drive-thru pickup lane that allows customers to pick up digital orders without leaving their cars.

The new Chipotlane drive-thru feature is aimed at boosting online and digital orders and it’s being rolled out with many of the company’s new store designs.

Founded in 1993, Chipotle now has more than 2,960 restaurants. The publicly traded company reported revenue of $7.55 billion in 2021.
