Dunkin’s Scholarship Program assists local students

The Metro NY Dunkin’ Scholarship Program has been established to recognize the importance of education while supporting and giving back to its employees and community.

The program, administered by Scholarship America, will award $5,000 scholarships to 10 qualified students throughout the New York metropolitan area.

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record; demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities and honors; work experience; statement of educational and career goals and objectives; unusual personal or family circumstances; and an online recommendation.

To be eligible, applicants must be current undergraduate students or high school seniors who plan to enroll in part-time or full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire 2023-2024 academic year.

Students must show a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent) or higher. Dunkin’ full-time or part-time employees who meet the eligibility criteria are also encouraged to apply, though franchise owners and dependents are not eligible.

Applications must be received by May 3.
