PSEG Long Island employees support environmental education group

Employees of PSEG Long Island recently donated $1,000 to Starflower Experiences, an environmental education organization.

Starflower is located at Manor Farm in Huntington and the donation will support the group’s pollinator project, an effort to replenish the area with plants and flowers that attract bees and other pollinator species.

The Starflower gift was made through two of PSEG Long Island employee business resource groups, the LI Environmental Guardians EBRG, which is focused on environmental causes, and GREEN, which advocates for clean energy alternatives. 

The donation will fund Starflower’s work to plant flowers that attract honeybees to the land.
