Autism Speaks Walk steps off at Jones Beach

The annual Autism Speaks Walk will be held at Jones Beach on Sunday, Oct. 8.

The Jones Beach event, which starts at Field 5, is the Long Island effort in the national series of Autism Speaks Walk events scheduled for dozens of locations around the country this fall.

Autism Speaks Walk is the world’s largest autism fundraising event dedicated to supporting the needs of people with autism and their families throughout their life’s journey. The Autism Speaks Walk brings together people with autism and parents, grandparents, siblings, friends, relatives and providers in a network of friendship and support. Funds raised help fuel innovative research, advocacy, and critical programs and services.
