Habitat for Humanity’s gala to be held at Cradle of Aviation

Habitat for Humanity of Long Island will hold its 35th Anniversary Gala at the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City next month.

The annual fundraising event is scheduled for 7 p.m. through 11 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 9.

Attendees will have the opportunity to celebrate the nonprofit organization’s 35 years of building stronger communities through safe and affordable housing on Long Island.

The gala, which will feature live music from the Cafe Wha? Band, will honor three Long Islanders who have made significant contributions to Habitat for Humanity’s mission and the families it serves. The honorees include Edgar Goodale, chairman of Riverhead Building Supply; Jeff Brett, CEO of King Quality Construction; and Ed Romaine, supervisor of the Town of Brookhaven.
