Valhallan Esports Training in Wantagh reopens with new ownership
Valhallan Esports Training Wantagh will host a grand reopening celebration under new ownership from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 27.
The event, which invites families, gamers and community members to experience a full day of esports competition, interactive gaming, prizes, and entertainment.
The arena, at 3004 Merrick Road in Wantagh, is under new ownership, after it was acquired in January by local mothers Jackie Mangiolino and Allison Vaz, whose own sons first discovered and participated in Valhallan’s esports programs.
Attendees at the event will enjoy live esports tournaments, free 30-minute gaming sessions, gaming-themed vendors and merchandise, food and refreshment trucks, membership specials and chances to win a refurbished gaming PC valued at about $2,500.
As the nation’s largest youth esports franchise, Valhallan provides a structured, coach-led environment where young people ages 6-17 develop teamwork, communication, leadership, and competitive gaming skills.
