Move, Create & Meditate 2026 wellness event comes to Woodbury

Queens-based nonprofit All Abilities Beloved and Respected (AABR) will host Move, Create & Meditate 2026 next month.

The event, to be held from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8, will feature John and Mark Cronin, co-founders of John’s Crazy Socks and nationally recognized advocates for inclusion and opportunity, along with Dr. Phyllis S. Quinlan, of Northwell Health. 

The wellness event is designed for people with differing abilities, their families and caregivers, direct support professionals, educators, healthcare professionals and members of the community. Through interactive activities and presentations, participants will explore physical, emotional and mental well-being while learning ways to incorporate movement, creativity and mindfulness into their routines.

“Move, Create & Meditate is an interactive experience designed to get people involved from the moment they arrive,” said Libby Traynor, CEO of AABR. “We want people to leave motivated, energized and inspired, with ideas and activities they can bring into their everyday lives.”
