Huntington expands its free drive-in movie series

The Town of Huntington has expanded its free drive-in movie series to the Walt Whitman Shops on Route 110.

The town, which already presents its drive-in movies at Crab Meadow Beach, is adding the Walt Whitman Shops location beginning Monday, July 13, when it will show “Frozen 2” in the retail complex parking lot.

Future films on the summer schedule at the Walt Whitman Shops include “Grease” on Monday, July 20, “Star Wars-The Rise of Skywalker” on Monday, July 27 and “Jumanji-The Next Level” on Monday, August 17.

At Crab Meadow, the town will be presenting “Toy Story 4” on Monday, August 3 and “E.T.” on Monday, August 10.

The free movies are available to town residents only. Those who wish to attend must register beginning on the Wednesday prior to each showing at: https://huntingtonny.gov/movies2020
