LI development firm honored for assisting Rocky Point VFW

Executives of Jericho-based B2K Development were honored by the leaders of Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 6249 in Rocky Point for the company’s donated expertise in assisting with renovations to their existing lodge.

In addition, B2K offered the company’s services and assistance in the  expansion of the VFW post’s Military History Museum. This will allow new exhibits to be presented, expand its Wall of Honor and welcome additional visitors during the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.

In a symbolic moment recognizing their shared commitment to honoring veterans, Jon Weiss, principal and president of B2K Construction and Steven Krieger, CEO of B2K Development, exchanged a B2K construction hard hat for a World War II GI helmet with VFW Commander Frank Lombardi. Joe Cognitore, past VFW commander of over 30 years, joined the hard hat/helmet exchange.
