$5K grants offered to qualifying small businesses

Many small businesses with three to 20 employees can now apply for a $5,000 grant from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation.

The nonprofit foundation’s Save Small Business Grant Fund is providing the money to small businesses in economically vulnerable communities that have been financially hamstrung by the COVID-19 crisis.

Applicants will need to provide a W-9 form and upon approval, it will take three to five days to process a payment. The grant applications began being accepted on Monday, April 20.
