Jersey Mike’s change roundup to benefit Special Olympics

Jersey Mike’s Subs shops on Long Island will be donating excess change to the athletes of Special Olympics New York.

When customers purchase food from participating Jersey Mike’s locations, they’ll be invited to round their change up to the nearest dollar. The rounded funds will then be donated to Special Olympics.

“Nothing is better than being able to give back,” said Jersey Mike’s franchisee and Special Olympics New York board member Mitch Cohen, who is spearheading the fundraising effort. “Being part of the Special Olympics New York Board gives me the chance to do that and watch these amazing athletes continue to grow into the best people they can be.”

Jersey Mike’s shops participating in the change roundup donation are: Bay Shore, Bayport, Bellmore, Bethpage, Carle Place, Commack, Deer Park, East Northport, Farmingdale, Freeport, Garden City Park, Hauppauge, Lake Ronkonkoma, Lindenhurst, Lynbrook, Massapequa Park, Oceanside, Port Jefferson Station, Selden, Stony Brook and Uniondale.
