Duck Donuts opening in Garden City Park

A new Duck Donuts store is opening this week in Garden City Park.

Located at 2425 Jericho Turnpike, the store, owned by franchisees Omar Athar and Sana Rafique, is scheduled to open Saturday, Jan. 22.

This is the third Duck Donuts location on Long Island, following those in Hauppauge and Selden, which are owned by the Bencivenga family.

To celebrate the opening of the Garden City Park store, Duck Donuts customers will receive a free donut on Saturday, Jan. 22 and Sunday, Jan. 23. The store will also donate 5 percent of the opening weekend’s sales to Cohen Children’s Medical Center as part of the company’s Quack Gives Back program.

The Garden City Park Duck Donuts store will be open seven days a week. Hours on Mondays are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesdays through Thursdays 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
