Breeze Airways adds Vero Beach nonstop from MacArthur

Breeze Airways has added new nonstop service to Vero Beach, Fla from Long Island MacArthur Airport.

The seasonal route will operate twice-weekly this winter, on Thursdays and Sundays through April 28, with one-way fares starting at $69.

Vero Beach will be Breeze’s sixth nonstop destination from MacArthur along with nonstop year-round service to Charleston, S.C., and Norfolk, Va.; seasonal service to Portland, Maine; Raleigh-Durham, N.C.; and Richmond, Va.; and one-stop/no plane change service to Jacksonville, Fla., and New Orleans.

Flights to and from Vero Beach will be flown on Breeze’s new Airbus A220-300 aircraft.

“Breeze has grown steadily from Long Island since we launched service to Charleston and Norfolk almost two years ago,” David Neeleman, Breeze Airways’ founder and CEO, said in a company statement. “Thanks to the Town of Islip and the team at MacArthur Airport, Breeze has been welcomed into the community and now offers six nonstop and two direct destinations from Long Island. Long Islanders are going to love a seriously comfortable, seriously affordable and seriously nice winter Florida getaway to Vero Beach, one of Florida’s best-kept secrets.”
