Charity art show raises over $13K for Olivia Hope Foundation
More than 200 attendees gathered in support of the Olivia Hope Foundation at the Painting Hope Charity Art Show held in August at Signature Premier Properties in East Northport.
The event showcased local talent, including artists Holly Logan, Caitlyn Morris, and Haley Marnell and raised over $13,000 for the nonprofit, which will be used to assist families affected by childhood cancer.
“This cause is deeply personal to me,” said artist and licensed real estate professional Morris, “and every dollar raised will have a positive impact on the families who need it most.”
The Olivia Hope Foundation, based in Oyster Bay, was founded in 2017 in memory of Olivia Hope LoRusso, who tragically lost her life to Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). The foundation’s mission is to fund research for less toxic treatments and provide financial and emotional support to families facing childhood cancer.
“It is inspiring and heartwarming to have such an outpouring of support for our organizations,” said Shelley LoRusso, co-founder and president of the Olivia Hope Foundation. “Surrounded by beautiful artwork, [Signature] created an amazing setting for the event, which helped raise the funds we need to support our ongoing mission.
Signature Premier Properties’ charitable division, Signature Cares, regularly hosts and supports community-driven events and fundraisers across Long Island.
