Greek life coming to Molloy University for the first time
The Division of Student Affairs at Molloy University recently announced the official launch of fraternity and sorority life beginning in the 2026–2027 academic year, marking the first time the Greek system has had a presence on campus since the founding of Molloy in 1955.
Sorority Theta Phi Alpha and fraternity Phi Kappa Theta will be the first organizations on campus.
“We are excited to bring fraternity and sorority life to Molloy as a meaningful way to deepen student connection and engagement, leadership development, and community building on campus,” said Janine Biscari, vice president for student affairs. “Theta Phi Alpha and Phi Kappa Theta exemplify the values we seek to cultivate within our community, and we look forward to their positive impact on our students and campus life.”
The university will be providing students with more information about these organizations during their orientation this summer, and plans to continue expanding this initiative in the coming years.
